Grande Réserve Brut
Grande Réserve Brut is made up of 65% meunier for its fruit character and softness; 20% pinot noir bringing roundness and structure; and 15% chardonnay imparting elegance and finesse.
As an apéritif: best served at 7-8°C
With food: best served at 10-12°C
Aged at least 3 years in the cellars.
Appearence: Bright, clear gold flecked with silver. A gossamer fine bead forms a lively string of bubbles in the glass. Lovely cream character.
Nose: Appealing, intensely fresh primary notes, echoing yellow fruits ripening over the course of summer, effusing notes of Bergeron apricot, nectarine and plum.
Palate: Initially still on the fruit side, offering flavours indicating the first signs of development and juicy ripeness. On first taste, the wine reveals appealing depth and accentuates the intensity of meunier fruit caressing the palate.
Grande Réserve Brut is exquisitely rich and culminates in a lively finish, where citrus fruit notes of grapefruit, tangerine and kaffir lime jostle for position.
Pairings
